Andiamo! helps global promotion for Liverpool, Capital of Culture

Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008

The official launch of Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008 at 20.08 hours on Friday 11 January sets in motion a year of high profile events starting with a free open air show on St George's Plateau which includes the most remarkable aerial spectacle and theatrical effects the city has ever seen including an “epic aerial ballet of dancing cranes, containers and scissor lifts!”

Since Liverpool was awarded the fiercely contested EU title of ‘Capital of Culture’ the city’s visitor, cultural and heritage attractions have been hard at work planning a plethora of events, concerts and exhibitions designed to attract visitors from across the UK and from all over the world. The team at Andiamo! Language Services - renown for their translation and localisation expertise for the travel trade industry – has been working closely with many of the top attractions, including international museums, heritage sites and visitor centres to ensure that their information is available in a multilingual format for both printed materials and website content in time for the influx of foreign visitors.

Andiamo!
