Freelance translators

We are currently looking for professionally qualified, experienced translators in all language combinations.

However, we are particularly keen to hear from translators with the specialisms as listed:

• Brazilian Portuguese: any specialism
• Chinese: any variety, any specialism
• Dutch: legal, medical
• French: marketing, technical & tourism
• French Canadian: any specialism
• German: marketing
• Norwegian: any specialism

Freelance interpreters

Andiamo! is constantly looking for professionally qualified, experienced interpreters in all languages.

We would also be particularly interested to hear from professionally qualified, experienced interpreters based in the North of England and Scotland working between English and any of the languages spoken in the UK by BME communities and Central and East European communities, particularly Polish and Lithuanian.

What you need to do

To be considered as a translator or interpreter for Andiamo! we require you to send us the following:

• A full CV including details of your qualifications, your experience, your specialist areas and - if you are a translator - the technical software at your disposal


• Evidence of your qualifications - e.g. scanned copies of any certificates, membership numbers of professional bodies


• Names and emails of at least TWO professional referees for whom you have recently worked, or recent academic referees


• Your current rates
