Revision and Review
In additional to the in-house checking that is part of the standard translation process, Andiamo! offers businesses two additional forms of proofreading for those translation projects that require an even more detailed and thorough translation service (and our standard service is already very thorough!).

Revision
Checked by a second translator
During a revision, a second translator - who is also a specialist in the subject matter of the text - checks over the original and the translated text to ensure that they correspond perfectly.
This process is carried out by the reviser.
Review
Checked by a specialist
Unlike a revision, a review involves the detailed checking of only the translated text.
It is carried out by the reviewer, who is a specialist in the subject matter of the text.
During the revision process, the reviser does not have access to the original text.
This ensures that the translated text serves its purpose as a standalone piece, with the aim of making the text read so naturally that the eventual reader will never be aware that the text was originally written in a completely different language.
