How our ISO standards benefit you

Every year we are externally audited for our ISO standards by Advanced Certification, a UKAS-accredited certification body. We are delighted to announce that following another successful audit at the end of 2019 we have maintained our ISO 9001:2015ISO 17100:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

A lot of work goes into preparing for these audits and maintaining our high standards. We’d like to thank our fantastic team for their commitment to our continual improvement. Here’s how our ISO standards benefit you:

ISO 9001:2015

The main standard that is important to our business as a whole is ISO 9001. Having this standard helps us to further improve quality management, streamline our processes and keeps us focussed on business continuity. All of these factors mean that the process of each project, whether it’s translation, interpreting or subtitling, runs smoothly from request to delivery.

ISO 17100:2015

ISO 17100:2015 is an internationally recognised standard, specifically for translation services. Not only does it help to further streamline the translation process, it dictates strict regulations for the suppliers we work with on your projects.

In accordance with ISO 17100:2015 all of our translation suppliers meet at least one of the following criteria:

In addition, we ask for details of 2 professional referees and assess each translator before we work with them as well as carrying out regular assessments.

Having this in place means you can rest assured that your translators are the “best in the business”. They will provide high quality translations every single time.

ISO 14001:2015

We have also renewed our ISO 14001:2015 standard, which helps us to reduce our environmental footprint. We are committed to helping the environment and want to demonstrate to our clients that we have all of the processes in place to do that.

When selecting your preferred partners, do check out current certificates of standards and the relevant auditing body. It’s worth knowing you’re using a professional agency and are in safe hands.
